Philosophy

Simple. The Green Collection’s workspace is modestly sized and multi-purpose, using as little electricity and water as possible. We offer minimal product packaging. Where possible, we use 100% post-consumer recycled paper for print materials, and we recycle all of our shipping materials (boxes, wrap, fillers etc.). As a family-friendly company, The Green Collection is dedicated to fair wages and a healthy work environment. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by encouraging people to cut back on waste, choose toys that can be passed along or shared and select products that are built to last and take care of them.

Natural. The Green Collection customers are supporters of environmental and health issues as reflected in their choice of products to purchase for their families. We all want the best for our children. As parents, it is important to us that we only use products that are made in fair-trade, not tested on animals and use eco-friendly methods of production. We also only select products that have organic ingredients, and a low toxicity rating. We believe that what children are exposed to should be pure and natural and we offer complete ingredient lists as well as resources to make educated decisions.

Fun. At The Green Collection we believe children learn through play. Child directed imaginative play fosters and builds creativity. Creativity will serve your children their whole lives. Creativity allows us to see new solutions to problems, thereby encouraging open minds and passionate thinkers.
