A Dandelion's Dream Come True
By Lynn Carroll, Illustrated by Heidi Vincent, Published in Stittsville Ontario
An adventurous story about Suzi Dandelion's dream of blooming in the Emperor's elegant garden. Once there she soon discovers the grass is not always the greenest on the other side. Suzi then realises the meadow was where she truly belonged.
As this one little dandelion seed blows away from the meadow to the Emperor's garden, Mama Dandelion knows she must let her little one go to follow her dream. When Suzi settles in the garden she is told by the flowers that dandelions are nasty little weeds. As Rose and Iris become friends with Suzi they soon discover that dandelions are just as pretty as any flower.
