Hidden in a Flower
By Julie Cybanski, Illustrated by Alan Fournier, Published in Stittsville Ontario
A magical fable of fairy dust and friendship as one little fairy and her friends save the meadow flowers from being eaten by a selfish troll. The friends find uplifting strength in standing together for something in which they believe.
Somewhere in a land far away, between what is real and what is magical, there lived a beautiful fairy. Her name was Delira, and she loved flowers. Each morning she would fly over her flowery home, taking care of every bloom and insect that lived there.
One day, she came face to face with a nasty, selfish troll, who was crunching and gulping the beautiful meadow flowers and frightening the insects away from their homes.
Delira was very worried and sought help from a little girl and some grasshopper friends. Together they were determined to save the meadow!
